$90.00 – $100.00
The Basics-Chemistry, Cells, Tissues deals with some of the fundamental concepts necessary for the study of anatomy and physiology.
The Basics-Chemistry, Cells, Tissues deals with some of the fundamental concepts necessary for the study of anatomy and physiology. The material on chemistry is short, very simple, and easy to follow. The section on cells covers the internal structure of a cell as well as the various types of cells found throughout the body. For bodyworkers, the information on tissues is most pertinent with a detailed description of the anatomy and physiology of the various connective tissues. This material will be most useful in your practice as it explains what is going on in the tissues of your clients’ bodies – from how those troublesome “knots” form to how your manual manipulations affect them.
All installments of The Living Body Series® are in the format of written text material with appropriate diagrams, much like a standard A&P textbook. Unlike standard textbooks, however, there are insights into the material that you, as a practicing bodyworker, will find most interesting and useful. Being well versed in this information will allow you to talk more confidently with your clients as well as with other health care professionals.
Practice questions at the end of each chapter will help you review the information and deepen your understanding of the material. These are for your use only and do not need to be submitted.
This course comes with a 25-question, multiple-choice exam which must be returned for grading. Passing grade is 18 out of 25 (72%). If for some reason you do not pass, a copy of the questions you missed will be sent back to you. Upon successfully passing the exam, your course completion will be entered into the CEBroker System and you will receive a Certificate of Completion in the mail.
This course is approved for 12 CE credits by the following:
